Help the first rigorous version get off the ground.

WS Musings and Intersectionality Finder are exploratory research products. Up to $10,000 would fund the next accessibility, evidence, engineering, privacy, and editorial work needed to move beyond the current prototype.

Important: WS Musings is not presented as a tax-exempt charitable organization. Contributions are voluntary, are not tax-deductible charitable donations, and do not buy equity, governance rights, preferential access, or influence over research conclusions.

Stripe-hosted checkout

Stripe hosts the checkout and collects payment details. Eligible visitors may see Apple Pay or other compatible methods based on their device, browser, location, and Stripe settings.

Use of funds

What the first $10,000 would make possible.

$3,000Accessibility, moderated usability, VoiceOver, mobile, and independent comprehension testing
$2,500Source review, claim records, corrections, and independent evidence work
$2,000Engineering, automated testing, hosting, and essential development tools
$1,500Privacy, legal, accounting, and payment-rail setup
$1,000Editorial design, copy, and public-methodology production
This is an illustrative operating plan, not an escrow promise. Actual spending may move among these categories as long as it remains directed toward getting the exploratory product off the ground. Settled receipts and major allocation changes should be reconciled manually before the public total is updated.

Voluntary launch support.

A contribution is a voluntary gift supporting prototype development, source work, testing, privacy, and public-interest research infrastructure.

Not equity or a purchase.

It is not an investment, security, pre-order, subscription, membership, payment for services, charitable tax deduction, or promise of a particular product outcome.

No influence for payment.

Contributors do not receive control over the taxonomy, evidence status, issue coverage, corrections, editorial conclusions, or review decisions.

No civic profile attached.

Payment records remain separate from anonymous Finder selections. The site does not attach issue choices, private briefs, or inferred political interests to a contribution.

Before contributing

Read the funding boundary.

Are contributions tax deductible?

No charitable deduction is represented. The project is not presented as a qualified tax-exempt charitable organization. Consult your own tax adviser.

Will I receive ownership or special access?

No. Contributions provide no equity, governance rights, product priority, editorial influence, or guarantee of future access.

How is cryptocurrency recorded?

Crypto receipts should be reconciled by asset, network, timestamp, units received, transaction identifier, and U.S.-dollar fair market value at receipt. Contributors should keep their own records and obtain tax advice.

What happens when the target is reached?

The configured methods should be paused after manually reconciled settled receipts reach $10,000. Any later campaign requires a new, separately disclosed purpose and target.
