Privacy
Browser-local exploration with explicit storage, deletion, hosting, and external-service boundaries.
Session and local storage
Current selections use session storage. Deliberately saved comparisons and followed issues may use local storage on this browser only. There is no Finder account or cloud synchronization.
Export, import, and deletion
Export contains only user-created local records. Import validates the saved-data schema and current IDs; corrupt data is quarantined rather than loaded silently. Hard delete removes supported WS Musings local and session keys from this browser.
Optional analytics, hosting logs, cookies, and forms
WS Musings supports optional Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-98B0V3KHS7. Google Analytics is disabled until you affirmatively accept analytics. If accepted, WS Musings sends a coarse route family and viewport class; it deliberately does not send issue slugs, Finder combinations, group IDs, searches, query strings, fragments, saved work, names, emails, or user IDs. Google is an external provider and receives the minimized event request. The static host may separately retain ordinary request logs under its platform policy. Support payments, if configured, occur on Stripe and remain separate from Finder data.
Analytics choice and administrative limits
Use the persistent Analytics settings button to accept, decline, or change the choice. Declining prevents the Google loader from being requested. Revoking disables later analytics events and removes accessible GA cookies. WS Musings configures no automatic page views, Google Signals, advertising personalization, user ID, or content-level custom dimensions in site code. Account-level retention, data-sharing, and product-linking settings require separate owner verification and are not claimed complete by this static release.
External sources and provider boundary
Opening a cited external source sends a normal request to that publisher. Build-time model work contains research packets, not visitor selections. The deployed Finder makes no runtime OpenAI request.
Control
Use Saved to inspect, export, retry migration, or hard-delete supported browser-local records.
