# How to Evaluate WS Musings

Release evaluated: `WSM-V7.35-EXTERNAL-VALIDATION-DEMAND-EVIDENCE-2026-08-27`
Protocol: `evaluation-packet:v735:lighthouse-external-evaluation`

WS Musings is a governed research system for organizing issues, evidence, stakeholders, relationships, analytical views, and reproducible research objects. It is not comprehensive, exhaustive, unbiased, authoritative, a truth engine, or a replacement for subject-matter experts.

## Scope

This protocol primarily evaluates usability and demand intent. It does not constitute academic peer review, market validation, product-market fit, or commercial traction.

## Suggested path

1. Open `/evaluate/` and read the product boundary.
2. Open the Lighthouse Research Object.
3. Complete one of Tasks A–E at your own pace; completion is not mandatory.
4. Inspect evidence, source provenance, a stakeholder relationship, a gap, and one analytical view as relevant.
5. Obtain a citation, JSON object, brief, or other reusable artifact.
6. Optionally export a structured evaluation response locally.

## Privacy and data handling

Ordinary browsing is not recorded as evaluation evidence. The evaluation interface sends no behavioral telemetry and creates no response until an explicit local Download or Copy action. A response enters WS Musings review only if the evaluator voluntarily shares it. Raw responses and contact data are private by default. Public quoting requires explicit permission and later review.

Do not include sensitive demographic details. Optional contact information is used only for evaluation follow-up when explicit permission is granted and is never placed in public candidate data.

## Validation methodology

Incoming responses are schema-validated, explicitly classified as real/synthetic/internal/author, checked for duplicates, reviewed for source and permissions, and kept private unless separately eligible for aggregate or public treatment. Synthetic fixtures, internal QA, and author feedback never count as external demand.

Demand classes D0–D5 describe explicit evaluation actions or intent. They do not predict conversion. At small N, publish counts rather than misleading percentages.

## Limitations

- Task success evaluates product legibility, not the truth or completeness of every research conclusion.
- Evaluation records are not necessarily verified unique people.
- v7.35 begins with zero accepted real external evaluations.
- No testimonial, institutional adoption, pilot, or market claim is implied.
